A church family with deep roots and open arms — building together for tomorrow
At Greater First, we are a church built on the unshakable foundation of God’s Word and the power of community. For generations, we’ve stood as a beacon of faith, hope, and love — and today, we continue that journey with renewed purpose. Whether you’ve been walking with Christ for years or are just beginning to explore your faith, you’ll find a place to belong, grow, and serve. Our doors and our hearts are open — and there’s a seat for you.
Grace and Mercy, Peace and Blessing!
We are truly blessed that of all the places you could be; you have chosen to fellowship with GFUBC. Whether you have blessed us by fellowshipping with us in our sanctuary or just found us on a digital platform we truly believe that when we meet strangers God has sent angels to be in our midst. Your presence is our blessing.
We believe our most important assignment from God is to touch lives and be of service to His people. We are a church that believes in the role, responsibility and accountability of the church to spread the gospel, the teachings and the love of Jesus outside of the four walls of the building and into the community. At GFUBC we don’t measure success by the number of people in the pews, or the number of clicks on our website. We measure success by the number of lives impacted by our faithful service. We don’t seek to just say the name of Jesus; we seek to live the nature of Jesus!
So, whether you are here for one service, or one of our ministry events; Whether you were invited by a friend, or you are looking for a place to find a friend: Whether you are lost and looking to be found, or you have found Christ and you are looking to share Him with those who are lost, we are grateful you are worshiping with us! We invite you the praise God as He so moves you. We invite you to be a part of this ministry. Whether it’s for one service, one event or a lifetime, we invite you to feel at home at Greater First United, and free to participate and praise God as he moves you.
Welcome to GREATER FIRST UNITED BAPTIST CHURCH!
